Sustaining a community club through consistent sports marketing

Client overview

Edmonton AC Milan is a community-focused soccer club with programs across youth development, men's and women's soccer, futsal, and fan engagement. OTB Media helped strengthen the club's digital presence, improve communication, and support growth through consistent, professional sports marketing.

The challenge

The youth academy campaign was one of the most important parts of this project. The academy was close to failing due to low registration numbers, but after launching a focused marketing campaign, registrations picked up, the program stayed afloat, and the final results beat expectations.

"This project was especially meaningful because the work directly supported a club that gives young players access to sport, mentorship, and opportunity. It showed how marketing in community sport can do more than create content — it can help sustain programs, build trust, and support real growth."
